Trump found $20 billion to bail out Argentina but can’t find a single dollar to help Americans afford health care.

Now instead of negotiating to reopen the government, he’s hosting the Argentinian president in the Oval Office. #AmericaFirst
It’s been 14 days since the GOP shutdown and House Republicans are still MIA.

24 million Americans are waiting to see if they’ll lose affordable health care and they aren’t even pretending to govern.
No affordable health care for Americans, but Argentina gets a $20 billion check and Qatar gets a military base. Trump’s priorities are clear.
One of my constituents told me: “I fear we’re going back to pre-ACA. People will go bankrupt and be scared to change jobs.”

That’s what’s at stake. Republicans are okay with it. They’d rather protect billionaires than protect your health care.
If Republicans don’t come to the table, middle-class families will be paying thousands more for health insurance. Everything’s already too expensive — people can’t take another hit.

I’m ready to work across the aisle to make sure that doesn’t happen.
On November 1st, 24 MILLION AMERICANS will have their health care premiums DOUBLE.

We could stop that from happening TODAY. But Republican leadership sent their members home because they know once they come back, we have the votes to release the Epstein Files.
Republicans act like it’s life and death when it comes to passing billionaire tax breaks and hiding the Epstein files.

But when it’s actually life and death – when millions of Americans are about to lose health insurance – they couldn't care less.
This. Was. Their. Plan.

To push their partisan Project 2025 agenda, Republicans are willing to hurt Americans by raising health care premiums and, in some cases, eliminating coverage entirely. Make no mistake: this is deliberate.
If Republicans get their way, 4 million Americans will lose health care on November 1st.

This isn’t a game — it’s life and death. Your grandma’s insulin. Your kid’s surgery.

Middle-class families shouldn’t have to choose between bankruptcy and care. That’s why we’re fighting.
Republicans move fast when it’s about tax cuts for billionaires, protecting Trump, or hiding the Epstein list.

But when it comes to protecting affordable health care for the middle class? Suddenly, they can’t get it done. I’m not letting them off the hook.
Democrats are working to stop your health care premiums from doubling. Republicans shut down the government to make sure they do.
Your health care costs are about to go up by hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
Not by accident. Because Republicans chose billionaire tax breaks over your family’s health.
If Republicans succeed, millions of Americans will see their health insurance premiums DOUBLE.

That means your kid’s asthma inhaler is suddenly out of reach. Your neighbor skips a surgery he can’t afford.

This isn’t an abstract policy debate. It’s real people and real consequences.
Sorry if I’m hesitant to trust Trump to negotiate in good faith about your health care when we’re still waiting for him to release the Epstein files.
Adelita Grijalva fue elegida democráticamente por la gente del sur de Arizona ya hace 7 días. Y los Republicanos la están bloqueando de su puesto porque quieren proteger los pedófilos. Es una desgracia.
Republicans could end this government shutdown right now and stop health insurance premiums from doubling for millions of Americans.

Why are they choosing to let costs skyrocket?
Two can play at this game
At midnight, the government shuts down because Republicans would rather raise your health care costs than keep them low.

They’re willing to tank the government so you pay more. Let that sink in.
Back in Arizona, everyone is telling me the same thing: prices are too high.

We're fighting to keep things from getting even worse by extending existing health care coverage.

But Republicans would rather shut down the government than give people even a little relief.
Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House.

If the government shuts down tomorrow night, it's because they chose to shut it down rather than pass a budget that serves the American people
Southern Arizona deserves a real fighter. That’s why I’m proud to stand with fellow Marine @mendoza4az.bsky.social for AZ-06.

She’s fighting for good-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, and a fair shot for working families!

Semper Fi!
Homan may think our homeland security is up for sale, but the American people know better. I’m demanding answers from AG Bondi on why her Justice Department moved to cover up allegations of a government official accepting cash bribes.

The DOJ exists to protect the public, not shield Trump’s cronies
If Republicans cared even half as much about your family’s health as they do about tax cuts for billionaires, we wouldn’t be headed towards a government shutdown.
The government is heading for a shutdown and Republicans are pulling the trigger. They refuse to pass a budget that protects healthcare for millions.

They’d rather shut it all down than make sure people get the care they need.
