I have had tidied up this feed. If all you do is repost other stuff, and some of that stuff was VERY 18+ (WTF!) or if it's just politics, then you are not seeing this post as you got blocked. This account is for radio stuff only please. #hamradio
Height adjustable is the way we are going. We are getting a desk each, mine for the shack and one for XYL work.
We had meatballs. Looked at office furniture. No batteries. Spent loads of money.
The word you are looking for is "Sensible"!
XYL is taking me to IKEA today. Mostly to look at kitchens and bathrooms for the house renovation. BUT, new shack will need a new desk, so I am checking out height adjustable standing desks, office chairs, and shelves. We might eat meatballs.
Temporary QTH, while our main QTH is being renovated, is on relatively high ground, so if I deploy my QFH antenna I might be able to RX the SSTV ISS event without going portable.
Bonus, the UK is now on UTC, so this reduces the chance of getting the time wrong, and waving an HT at the sky and wondering why you can't hear anything. 😬
More SSTV from space. My AOS predictions suggest late evening passes over London. This is an easy event to participate in: you need an HT on 145.8 Mhz and a phone with an SSTV app.
You know that Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) was the first educational payload on the station! So we are going to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ISS in style!

Get ready for an SSTV event covering parts of 9 days! It's scheduled to kick off on Wed. November 12.
I own multiple adaptors. I failed to bring any with me. Today I will return to my storage unit and bring them, all of them, to my temporary rental home. Then I will diagnose the high SWR on my antenna.
Totally forgot that the Rig Expert Pro is N connector, so I can't actuality use it because portable setup is all BNC. FFS!
If you have a Rig Expert antenna analyser and need a case, then these electric toothbrush cases work really well. With thanks to K8MRD's YouTube channel for the suggestion. PLUS, Rig Expert are in Ukraine, good to support them too. 🇺🇦
I am requesting it this Friday, it's top of my playlist!
Tactical vote against the light blue "party" I think. The Reds and Blues vanished.
If you want to play with the FM birds, a Yaesu FT-8900 is the box, full duplex 10, 6 ,2 and 70. If you see one used they are a good buy.
I LOVE trains, this is brilliant!
The old tech has a look and feel that modern kit lacks. I like my FTdx3000, not that old but getting there. I had an FT-710, hated it, and sold it. The valve hybrid kit keeps the shack warm in winter. If you can find a tidy one for reasonable money I say do it.
I think it is an Autism thing.
I have sent in a reply to G4UQB's letter.
I checked if suffix RON was available but Offcom says it's not allowed, so no.
ML&S is not far from me, so I usually go in person. But I have also bought online. Mostly buy used gear, so I like to see it and play before parting with the cash.
eQSL is not happy today.
