Sounds good. I'll do a search of the book title and learn more.
I came home from work (to work from home) at 2pm.

Primarily because I was waiting for a package delivery to arrive between 2:45 and 4:45 pm that I need to sign for.

It’s 6:40 pm. And guess what!?!? No package yet. I see it on the live map and hope they don’t give up and stop delivering today.
Every day is a good day to post a numerical or written review about a book you like.

Every day is a good day to re-post something by a favorite author.

Every day is a good day to word-of-mouth a book you've enjoyed recently.

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you.

Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.

So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

They canceled my work on race and media.

So I built a @resistanceschool.bsky.social instead.

Now we are teaching over 600 students.

Week 2 of Race, Media and International Affairs starts today.

We move ✊🏾💪🏾
It’s a beautiful cloudy and rainy day in San Francisco today. It’s definitely giving fall vibes and aesthetics. The view outside my office at San Francisco State University. Monday, 10/13/25.🍁🍂🌁 #SanFrancisco #SanFranciscoState #AutumnSky #FallAesthetic

It is so amazing to hear THE #PearlCleage ... This is the book that introduced me to her. ✊🏾🖤💪🏾📚 #BookAlert @karenhunter.bsky.social @poetkevinpowell.bsky.social #KarenRebels
Yes. Her speaking voice is so calm, yet emotive and assertive. Things I Should Have Told My Daughter is amazing. That was the last time "in person" I met her -- a keynote and classroom workshops at a campus in L.A. -- around that book. Made us see the importance of journals and documenting our lives
One of my favorite writers is Pearl Cleage. I’ve gotten to meet and learn from her when hosting her for campus events — keynotes, book signings, etc.

I look up random podcasts so I can hear her voice & soak up her wisdom. ✍🏾📚

I hear you. Same here. We were lucky, growing up, that we had either the back porch or the garage if the house wasn't quite company ready. No one seemed to care, though, as long as it was presentable. Today, me and my friend or family circle... we just meet out somewhere. But I miss home visits.
I like it, too. Listened again today. Missed him in San Francisco this weekend. Actually, found out last minute. But yeah, great album!
Remembering the days growing up when company would drop by for no reason, unannounced, on weekends. House was always ready too, it seemed, clean, some food ready, popsicles for the kids to go outside, dark liquor or beer for those who wanted, & spontaneous conversation. Happen anymore? #SundaySky
