After scrolling TikTok for hours in a menopausal haze, I attempted to start a new book. I skimmed pages, thinking “get to the point already” before realising what I was doing. This is likely happening to an entire generation of people. Not mine, I hasten to add. But a lot of us too I’m sure.

We went to all ages gigs when I was a teen. You had a different coloured bracelet to show you couldn’t drink but otherwise there was no difference. I’m glad I had those experiences and I’m glad I can take my son to see live music now.
