I’ve been using a ChatGPT sidekick to create expressions for After Effects, it’s amazingly powerful. I wouldn’t know how to do anything remotely like this or the all important ‘search term’ required to make something like this. Was an absolute doddle.

From previs to final render.
Some #c4d and #deepglow for an animation test. Followed by some bts in the thread.
Oof, I’ll take that. Thanks dude. 👍
Ha, just read a load of twitter commentary. People on there write about mj like they want to be friends with it.
Here is some BTS showing the simple rig.
Some more joysticks n sliders work. This time using just layers and masks in AE. I used a 3D head to get the parallax right.
Totally worth messing about to bring to life Dan Soder’s Macho Man impression.
Quite a range of movement available with enough forethought.
Here’s Jesse Ventura wriggling around in real time in After Effects.
And then why not a 3D head?… so here are the previs just grinding around each using a joystick.
But then, why not attach pre-rendered limbs also?
A while back I had an idea to use joysticks n sliders to animate prerendered 3D elements of a character. You can see the 2D limbs pinned to a 3D torso here.
Been playing with Spline make little interactive 3D scenes.
A far less charming 3D version.
Awesome 80s and 90s car liveries. Can you name them all?!
