Well, this took a turn.

As a result of a call from the member of the public, Police were called to the area of Curry's, Marchfield Way, Weston Super Mare where they reported suspicious activity involving 6 male persons carrying TV and monitors.
It appears these 6 are suspected to have been involved in a theft at Curry's store, and upon Police arrival, they have made off in a vehicle failing to stop for police.
An extensive area tour was made for the vehicle which resulted in the vehicle being lost to sight.
A full description of the vehicle and males involved were passed out to patrol units for observations.
Around 1hr later, a further call was received to the Police, regards to several males in the area of Uphill by the church. The initial report was that of concern for the group who were endangering themselves by chasing the cattle.
With the assistance of North Somerset CCTV, several males were picked up on camera and soon identified as being involved at the theft at Curry's.
Officers from the NPT Town Centre and Bournville Teams responded, with assistance from the Local Policing Team.
With help from NS CCTV operators and 2 very kind members of the public who leant us their bikes, a short foot chase ensued along the cycle track, and persons were detained and arrested for shop theft.
A huge thank you to the public and CCTV operators for their support in helping us bring these suspects to justice.
