I went to one of our local festivals on Saturday. They had this beautiful statue called “lady Helene”…a compassionate grief goddess type figure that cries when you water her hair and whose hands will hold a human and a container for their grief. ❤️

Oh god damn that was rough! The physical exam part had me sweating and shaking and damn near in tears. I have a “Hill-Sach’s” deformity which is going to need a bone graft…
…and I likely have a torn labrum…which I am going to have to schedule an MRI to look at. 🥵

Happy indigenous people’s day my friends. Of course I went to an “inipi kaga” sweat lodge today to honor the original people of this land, to remember that we are all walking on sacred ground. We are bound to this mother. I pray that we can collectively learn to take better care of her.

Pics of me 2 days before I blew out my shoulder…3 weeks ago. Finally out of a sling now and deep in physical therapy. Going to try to put off surgery till January. We will see what the surgeon thinks about that idea on Wednesday

Welp, I got an appointment scheduled next week with an orthopedic surgeon to look at my shoulder. I know it’s a mess in there so I’m not really expecting a lot of good news. Hopefully there will at least be a good path forward. 🤞🏽

Gravity is not a “force” and has nothing to do with the “attraction of massive objects”. It is the bending of space caused by massive objects and other objects follow the curvature of that warped space.

They are teaching my son in school that gravity is the force of attraction between two massive objects. That is so wrong it kinda pisses me off. That is Newton’s law of gravitation…which has long since been replaced in the physics and science community by Einstein’s theory of general relativity 😡

Ooof! My shoulder popped out of socket at work today. This has been an ongoing issue that has happened sporadically since a really bad accident 13 years ago where I got hit by a car as a pedestrian… every time it happens is justifiably a little bit triggering. Fuuuck

A 12 hour day of crafting regalia for a bear dance is good for the spirit. Made a couple of rattles, worked on my bear robe, and custom making t-shirts to order for 50+ people… 😁 🐻
