he looks very happy and healthy! 😸 a little extra padding in the winter is perfectly normal for kitties (and honestly for the better imo!!)
Ohhh what a handsome little gentleman he is 🥺 i completely agree! A little chub never hurt!
Maybe she doesn't get bored with flavors the way humans do, but I figure if I can at least desensitize her to new things being introduced to her diet, then it won't be such a big deal if, for example, I have to switch what brand of wet food I buy for her some day.
I also like to buy the churru variety packs and put some out with her wet food once a week, just so she gets a bit of "dessert" and flavor variety.
She doesnt seem to like any of the seafood flavors as much, so typically I get her chicken, turkey, and beef flavors. I try to add variety to her meals mainly with treats! I put dental treats in her food and I use a chicken and malt flavored kitty toothpaste to clean her teeth three days a week.
Because of said difficulties with eating dry food, at night she also gets a 5 oz can of wet food to supplement her diet (she only likes paté, I've tried loads of different kinds to give her variety and this is what she'll consistently eat and not waste). This is much easier for her to eat.
She's missing most of her little teeth, so eating dry food is more challenging for her because she can't pick up the kibble (she can still bite it, it just takes her longer and is more work for her to chew).
:( that makes me so sad. I give my kitty a mix between dry and wet food. She has 24/7 access to dry food (which is fine for her because she's a grazer and doesn't overeat).

The two are not mutually exclusive. You can point out the irony and still be mocking someone who is asking for an answer that you and your team have pointedly avoided giving for months.
The "solution" @jay.bsky.team suggests cheerfully ignores the reality that most people do not have the resources or the skills to build their own platform, AT protocol or not.

A fact that Jay is probably well aware of, and is simply choosing to omit for the sake of skirting responsibility.
Trans users are not unreasonable for asking Bluesky leadership to protect them from bigotry, nor are they unreasonable for asking leadership to actually enforce Bluesky's policies. Trans users should not have to go and build an entirely new platform just because one person refuses to do her job.
This is a common cop-out you'll see come from Bluesky leadership whenever there is frustration or anger coming from their users. It's a reasonable suggestion when it comes to users asking for things like site features, but when it comes to basic community safety, it is not.
Jay has since followed up her latest controversial response to user feedback with the usual refrains of "if you don't like it, go and build your own app."
