It's a movie more interested in making a pressure cooker for its characters than making a point about the the danger that comes with nuclear weapons. Why did the satellite fail? It makes more stress. Why are SECDEF and STRATCOM unprofessional? Same.

Well, you have until the B-2s need to start landing due to either limitations of the pilots or the engines, since that allows for targeting of them. So still probably 1-2 days.

There is no threat to the US second strike capability or to leadership so a second wave of launches would not be appreciably more effective, and would also be far more likely to identify the attacker. A hasty response is imo worse than no response here, when you can have far more facts.

Yeah this was my take, what is the rush? As long as there are no other launches, you have honestly up to a couple days to respond. If you wait until after the impact, even if you can't identify the launch platform, analysis after the explosion can identify the attacker.

This is pretty representative, highly detailed digital art that I have a hard time imagining being able to be embroidered on a badge and being legible.

There is always a little graft in everything this admin tries to do, to convince the people who aren't motivated by the ideological reason for any given action to come along for the ride.

The government secretly tests an Anti-PTSD drug on a team of seals, but the drug gives them all brain tumors. So obviously the next step is to set them up to be KIA. The commander (Pratt) makes it out and goes on a killing spree against everyone who was involved (from secdef to the drug company)

I watched a couple episodes of this, and the initial premise was interesting to hold my attention, but really quickly it veered off a cliff into a one man army vigilante killing spree... IDK what I expected tbh

I was a junior enlisted Marine. Whether active, reserve, or Guard, enlisting is an act of faith. You place your autonomy in the hands of others.

You put your faith in voters to elect wise leaders, and in those leaders to treat your gift with care, and not spend it capriciously or wastefully.

B-21 is expected to be replacing them over the next 10 years. I lived near Elsworth for a few years, B1s were flying out of there at least weekly, and are probably the loudest aircraft I have ever seen firsthand.
