Over and out, it was hopeful and pretty good on here for a while.

Sound the last post! Is anyone bothered on here any more? If you are interested in the latest book or my future projects please email [email protected]
A very small number of the limited edition hardbacks of Cropped are on sale at www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop... The paperback edition will be available to buy in August. Celebrating thirty years of publishing books on football grounds. Like the post and I’ll be encouraged to post pics!
Unlike that other place it’s not possible to see how many people have engaged with a post. With the video of the new book yesterday does the fact there’s no Likes mean nobody’s interested? Please use the Like thing if something is good so it makes it clear it’s worth continuing to post!
Finally the new book has arrived from the printer - Cropped. 114 pages of ground photos, great images have been drawn out from average shots which have sat in folders all but unwanted. Last few hardback copies available, paperbacks on sale soon. www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop...
Alan Everest of Crockenhill appealed and won when booked for this coming together.
Not new but another ground local to me is railed but as seen no cover.
Just when one bus arrives then another turns up. How about this gem?!
Any club shops in Kent or South East London on here? I’m ordering a small number of b/w copies of my Football Grounds in Kent. I’ll add more to the order if anyone wants to buy some. A decent profit can be made too. PM for details. Pretty much a one-off chance.
As I said on the original post I reckon it is Alan Whittle.
Better quality pic from elsewhere has the teams and score top left. Odd though that no games between the clubs in the 70s were ever at 1-1. Info from X1vX1.com - wonderful resource!
Alan Whittle taking the corner I’d say. Blue and white bobble hats so BRFC? Palace used to let the cars drive round on the ash to the Holmesdale end, can’t recall if it was catcalls or applause though.
More visual history from Cropped, the new book. Hardbacks on sale now, paperbacks to follow in the autumn. Themed and sequenced through the book so Outside - Leyton, Stand - T&M, Groundview - Kellingley W, Landscape - Peasedown. Order at www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop...
Panoramas of stands work too, first from three pics, second from two. Works better than a 6x4 I’d say. Also standard pan, all of Roots Hall.
Another random panorama, Millmoor.
Four more archive pics of Ryhope, Robin Hood, Dartmouth and Micklefield. Visual history and a tad more in Cropped, details at www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop...
Thanks! The votes of support here mean I will keep going.
Just a ‘like’ means I see they are appreciated. I can’t get the view stats on here like the other place so it just seems like they’ve not been seen.
Another panorama, Cold Blow Lane end at the Den. But is anyone interested on BlueSky now? Just the odd like here and there makes me wonder if the great move from Musk’s thing has stopped.
And away from promoting my new book Cropped how about some old panoramas too? Here’s Luton Town from around 2008.
Archive photos of Lancaster, Chorley, Polytechnic and Maidstone Utd, taken from the new book Cropped. Available at www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop...
Thirty years ago today I was in Kent with my daughter taking the final pic for my first grounds book. My eldest daughter took these pics the same day at Wembley watching @boltonwanderers.bsky.social with my wife. Dunno who the guy is; love his reaction to the big win.
Archive pics of Frickley Athletic, Chorley, Denaby Utd and Maidstone United from Cropped, on sale now at www.footballgroundsfrenzy2.com/product/crop... Not a 6x4 in sight - Visual History or Art?
