Thank you for Pet Sounds. RIP Brian Wilson.
Pope Francis made me comfortable fully returning to the church, family in tow. He was a Catholic visionary who expanded the tent, and for that I am very grateful to him. Rest in peace.
This effort was borne from the thought that runs through my head a lot lately: what can I do to make things a little better? Teaching for free is one way, so that's what I'll do for now. I'd like to take this on the road and do it in community libraries, schools, whatever. We'll see how it goes.
Today was my first Build an App with AI class at the RVC Rec Center. Five boys showed up to wireframe their apps in preparation for building the backend next week. This is the first @nysaic.org official "event" I guess? I loved it, and I didn't have to pay my co-teacher anything because he's my son.
BANG.
"Ow!"
<Butthead laugh>

Having a young man in the house is a joy.
Putting my money where my mouth is. If you live in or around Rockville Centre, this might be of interest. I’m volunteering but they charge a fee to cover the overhead.
And running is my gift to my gift to the world!
Our daughter is our gift to the world. Our son is the world's gift to me. Happy birthday, you brilliant, beautiful young man.
So the Limitless pendant is pretty damn cool. Been playing with it for a couple of hours. I do wonder about the ethics of its usage. In a situation where a meeting is being recorded in some other way, no issue. But what about meetings with people taking notes? Is this essentially a stenographer?
The packaging doesn’t exactly elicit excitement, guys. But I’m still excited.
Sometimes, you are aware you're forming a core memory for yourself. Running the streets at 6am with my daughter is one of those times.
I'm obsessed with Limitless's Rewind app, and now the pendant is on its way.
And please leave comments when you attend a speech, good or bad! They really help us get better. I know going forward, I'm going to push myself to provide genuine feedback.
Haven't done a keynote in a few years and was lucky enough to do one for the RTM's Spring Northeast Innovation Forum. The comment cards are so kind that I'm sharing a couple of the quotes.
Sure, but have you considered the fact that they could very easily win four of their next seven and continue treading water indefinitely? Compelling case to be made.
I’m watching this now and the psychological three car pile up of nostalgia for my youth, our music, and our pop culture is causing me physical pain.
I've had COVID five times. I have the flu for the first time in six years. I would be absolutely fine with a few more rounds of COVID instead of this.
Really enjoyed the piece. I want to suggest one thing: Lullabies to Paralyze is the second half of the double album that begins with SFTD. It's widely underrated by fans of the band because it follows a masterpiece, but I think Lullabies is almost as good.
The Hexx by Pavement has a great football verse
Crazy when the exact thing you assume will happen happens.
It's been a long twenty years.
Today, another ed tech company had a breach. Next week, a few more. The faster we get to biometric identification for everything, the better...until my PS instance needs support and the rep who works with us is out sick, so we ask them to spin up a temp user with privileged access, and...
