there's much talk about the decline of basic decency and civility after the pandemic, but before generalizing another's bad behavior as a trend, consider yourself. when was the last time you offered someone a glass of choccy milk because they're epic? made someone a cookie but eated it?

i’m playing hollow knight for the first time :-) i’m pleasantly surprised at how fair & approachable it is given its reputation for being difficult. i’m only ~12 hours in, but i haven’t had any reason to be frustrated yet, which says a lot given i haven’t played a metroidvania in over a decade.

i know it’ll get more difficult, but it really eases the player into the genre, so it can be rewarding even for beginners.
