Since like a good research study for cognitive scientists @drcanchess.bsky.social 😜😜
Nice post! Thanks for sharing the not happy path as well, that is really relevant! Also, I’m not an expert but maybe having too many opening options is counterproductive? “Jack of all trades; master of none” kinda vibe? I’m not sure either but I’m trying to improve my repertoire somehow differently!
Hahaha interesting suggestion!
Yes, when analysing I noticed I could have blundered mate there very easily 😅🤣
Thank you! 🥹 Yeah the warning is definitely in place here! 🙏🏼🫶🏻
Yeah I did not calculate properly actually, when I played Nxa1 I noticed Rf7+! And I was screwed, but I was lucky I guess because my opponent was already lost psychologically 😅
Yes, that's why I believe I can play openings that are WAY beyond my level (Najdorf, KID, etc) but I don't mind the suffering and I think my overall chess will improve in the end, at least that's what I hope for! 🤞🏻
Well it is not actually a transposition, is just that I remembered that Giri recommended to go for the Benoni when white played the f3 Anti-Grünfeld, it turned out great! 😅
posting as an image due to character limitation, thanks for your interest! 🫶🏻 (in the alt text you can copy the whole PGN)

I understand, my best game so far is a win with black against a 1880 where I played the grunfeld but had to transpose to a Benoni! Neither of us knew what was going on, but you just need to understand the position a little bit better than your opponent… I see value in chng reperts depending on lvl!
Awesome thanks very much for the honest response! 🙌🏻
Would you recommend the Grünfeld or the KID to a 1700 FIDE? I have your course but I’ve been also learning some KID pawn structures and I’m learning tons!!
It's time to finally get that free course! 🤞🏻 @chessable.com #PuzzleConnect #chespunks

Amazing, well done! Always feel impressed when people do great stuff with baked in solutions! 👏🏼
Programming still feels like a super power, you have an idea or you feel like learning something new and BAM! You can code it yourself if you don’t want to pay or there is no existing solution already 😎

Difficult position… is it a tactic or a slow move?
Feel kinda dumb but… Bxd1!? 😅
