“Politics can be passionate without being personal or polarising.” — one of the fantastic insights from CNN's John King, speaking at the NCH in Dublin.

John spoke with grace, with humility, with humour, and with journalistic balance. He's an inspiration!

As a filmmaker and journalist, one of my all-time favourite movies is ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN. Robert Redford is superb in it!

He was passionate about championing independent voices in cinema through the Sundance Institute & Film Festival.

What a legacy!

Thank you so much, Magdalena!
Seán Rocks was an incredible champion for all creative artists.

He was always very well informed, enthusiastic, and warm in his interviewing.

The arts world is much poorer for his loss. His lovely voice will be missed from the airwaves. www.rte.ie/news/ireland...

Celebrating completion of Diploma in Advanced Producing with wonderful classmates!
I watched Broadway's ‘Good Night and Good Luck’ on CNN last night. It was intoxicating!

The cast, led by George Clooney, was fantastic. The directing was excellent. The set was exquisite!

The cacophony of sound brought back fond memories of my days and nights producing live television news.
Great week with a fab group of talented directors on Directing for High-end Episodic Drama.

Thanks so much to director Diarmuid Goggins for teaching us so much and supporting us, and to Screen Ireland/Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet for running the course!

The Advanced Producing Alumni event at TU Dublin was fantastic — especially the inspirational keynote by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Aisling Walsh!

It was invaluable to meet graduates of the AP course. What a network to be in!

It was lovely to meet my classmates after 8 months of online classes too.
Thank you to Screen Ireland, the Writers Guild of Ireland, and Chris Brennan for a very informative #ScriptBiz session about social media marketing for screenwriters.

It included one of my favourite quotes.

Your reminder that I run a charity appeal every year. This year it's for the DSPCA and UNICEF Ireland's Gaza and Lebanon appeal.

As this is my first year doing it without the giant megaphone of Twitter it's slower than usual.

A share would be great...
