I think it’s because of the way I describe my dad’s behavior. If it makes sense, I only learned recently that people can be emotionally and verbally abusive without realizing it. My dad definitely falls into that because no matter how many times he’s promised to change, he hasn’t.

(5/5) Maybe the former is false, maybe people just exaggerate their plights at work because they’re lazy; and maybe what I’m going through isn’t some form of emotional abuse and I should be nicer to my dad because after all, he’s letting me stay under his roof.

(1/5) Over the past few sessions I’ve had with my latest therapist, I have mentioned how I get ghosted by all these places I apply to; and it’s to the point where I don’t send in applications for long periods of time. She tells me to keep trying, but the same shit happens.
