not to be adkr pilled now, I really like that Makai Wars did what they did in regard to Adell and his sense of identity

I don't know the full lore of this alt, but simply by having him wear his dead parents' clothes they've addressed the elephant in the room far more than other installments

them finding a sense of identity in their relationship with each other is huge to me. Adell being a protector not because he has to, but because he chooses to, and Kurapika looking forward to the present instead of living in the past.... hm.
