That's exactly what they want you to do. Compromise and "meet in the middle" which they would then orchestrate to make it seem they're being pushed to conservative side. This has been the play book for the last decade.
When will people realize that we're entering a post-social media era? The companies don't love you. They don't care for what you say. Or who you socialize with. They're just here to satisfy the advertisers and the shareholders.
