Now that all the Rs have been crying like babies at the tops of their lungs, I expect the MSM will at least have a look. They'll be bored by all the grannies and gramps, but they may be entertained by frogs and unicorns. Any hope they'll notice that millions of peep have something serious to say?

I read a book by John Ball* once where the entire plot was finding a unifying belief held by all religions. The answer: Love the neighbor as thy self. It was a long book. I'm betting Ball actually researched that question to death.

As per map, shooting howitzers from the ocean to the impact range goes right over I-5. I-5 is the only route from LA to San Diego unless you divert to I-15, about a 2.5 hr detour. They've decided not to close I-5, but the train will be stopped for about 3 hours.

Interesting choice of dates for the Marine's year long "250th Birthday" at Camp Pendleton: Oct. 18! Vance & Petey will be there-shocker. The public is invited to party on Pendleton's Del Mar Beach. There was talk of shooting howitzers over I-5, but that was nixed. I call "distraction & diversion."

Is this worth oil companies making even more money than they do now? I grew up in this and have no intention of our next generations going back to it. CA has been at the forefront of emissions restriction for decades and it's worked.

College assign. that shook my world: we had to write a research paper with 1 set of facts (we chose) and argue opposite conclusions. I didn't think it could be done, but turns out it could. OMG. That was a wake up and a lesson still in my mind 50 yrs later. The class was cultural anthropology.

My mom lost 2 pregnancies between my oldest sibling and the next 4 of us. When she was dying at 93, one of the last things she said was, "Now I can meet my babies in heaven." She never really talked about those 2, but she never forgot them either.
