#TimeTravelAuthors -Day 11 "Most"

The Council reaffirms that we need the reproductive power of the three elder Bain females.
The document approved by Dallis, their mother and the world’s most fertile Repopulator, gives consent for Taryn, Fia, and Iona Bain to complete this mission to the past.
October 11-12 only, stuff your e-reader and get your #paranormalromancereads fix at possessivelyparanormal.com!

I'm participating with my book, Witches, Werewolves, and War.

Can you dig it? My alter-ego Evie Kelley’s debut book, MY BICENTENNIAL, is out today.

This #comingofage tale of the far-out Bicentennial year 1976, follows Massachusetts high school senior Deidre Daly’s often hilarious (and occasionally disastrous) attempts to fit in.

#TimeTravelAuthors #7 Answering this question as Taryn Bain.

Something odd/weird I experienced is the first time I experienced life outside the dome.

I liked the novelty of rain at first...but after three days of the wet stuff, I'd be happy to be back in the temperature-modulated dome.

Something weird you've experienced?

"To die and wake up at the center of time is by far the weirdest thing that ever happened to me. And then to die again in order to return..."

#TimeTravelAuthors Day 1--Answer as your character

I'm Taryn Bain. The year is 2352, and the world is largely infertile. I will lead a team involving my younger twin sisters and the biological (my sire) to travel to 1400s Scotland. Our mission: To find fertile partners & return to 2352. Pregnant.
#October! The month of my birthday and #Halloween. The decorating has begun...

And/or join us for a weird #TimeTravelAuthors next month (character POV edition)! Hope to see you then!
#TimeTravelAuthors Day 29

My favorite line in the book is the last one--The best beginnings start with rain.

It mirrors something that happens to the main character early on in the book when she encounters rain for the first time. She hates it. She's lived in a dome her entire life.
It's been that kind of month, right?

"Even so, your daughter seems healthy and happy, and you've fixed and maintained every machine and appliance that's been put in front of you. I've never heard an engine as quiet as your Ford's. You're so careful when you drive, too."

His heat invaded my skin, my bones, my marrow, giving me a sense of home. I pulled back enough to see his eyes.

I wanted to tell him I loved him, but my family’s precarious position held me back. Unpleasant choices loomed ahead, choices I didn’t want to consider.

You know how they say time has no meaning when you're in love? Well, @fenleygrant.bsky.social's romantic sizzler "The Fountain of Youth" puts a new spin on the expression!

Thank you, Julie! I appreciate the kind words (especially on a day when I'm drafting a new book--my drafts are not pretty).

How about this for time travel? It was 11 years ago today that I published my first novel. And now here's "Ghost Life," the prequel short story to my most recent novel, MYRIAD!

#TimeTravelAuthors 23--Anger

The surrounding storm clouds mirrored my anger, but I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of a retort. Wretched man.
A sodden mass of hair slipped into my face. I needed a hair tie. And a cleanse. And a change of companions. My shoes squelched in the mud in agreement.

#TimeTravelAuthors Day 17:
“Thought you’d be glad to see me.”
“I am. Because we need to have words. Lots of words. You left, dumping me in 1943, a stranger in a strange land.”
“I’ve been watching you. So far, you're doing a dismal job. Mission unaccomplished.”
The mission. The fricking mission.

I certainly never expected to hold a civil conversation with Alistair Seymour Rochester the Fourth, let alone agree to save him if he ceases to exist. But it's been a #strange couple of days. #TimeTravelAuthors
