Fonterra brands sale is gonna bring some unintended consequences for farmers re the creeping nitrification of Canterbury water.
They’ve now lost their social licence to pollute our drinking-water aquifers with nitrate from over-stocked and irrigated paddocks with cow urine and factory fertiliser.

You know a crappy thing about how we do lending for apartments in NZ?

Because this is 30sqm it’s deemed too small to be eligible for a conventional mortgage and so requires about a 50% deposit (that’s part of why this is so cheap) so only landlords can afford it.
