I’m pretty sure it’s mental mostly because of factors not related to the gym directly, but I’m mentally exhausted where the gym has started feeling less like unloading and more like frustration

I’ll let my trainer know and see how we approach my next routine because we’re changing it up in a week

I have about 3-4L a day of water but unfortunately we have no steam or sauna in the gyms here to help with to that, I stretch before and after my workouts always though at least!

Not sure if this helps but I’m the same and I have ADD, caffeine helps regulate my attention span, I can drink it at any time of the day and silences my brain for a bit 😭 are you also neurodivergent at all? If so that could be it

Anyway I wrote a poem about the fact that my dog has inevitably gotten older and poorly, and I have anticipatory grief
Through My Puppy's Eyes I wonder if you get frustrated now, Because you can't walk in a straight line anymore. Getting up isn't easy- Like it used to be. Trembling joints, aching struggles. Do you get upset When our voices fade in and out? like radio static on a quiet road? Do you only see us as glimpses - maybe as shadows and silhouettes? These steps used to be a breeze. You'd leap and jump into ecstatic pants, and thundering tail wags. Remember the meadows? Flowers bowing under your paws. And your joy echoing into the wind. Can you still see the grey from the green? Now when you sigh, I wonder if it's because you feel it too - the quiet between what we were, and what's left. Because we can't look at the moon, together anymore.
