We still don't know who will have the French-language national NHL rights starting in 2026. The Rogers announcement didn't include TVA, so anything is possible (Rogers running its own French broadcasts, TVA renewing, a deal with RDS, a streamer, etc.)

Licences will now be indefinite instead of 7 years. Compliance will be monitored continuously, and AM rebroadcasting on FM, and/or music FMs switching to talk without approval, will be allowed for one-year trials.
