MUFC, New Order, Canada. RAF Driffield, European. Harsh but fair.

Does he still oil his arms, the weirdo? Should be a rugby league player, he's awful with his feet.
Maybe after a win at Anfield... 🤞
Saving this for a special occasion... #InBruges
Was he also on Five Live, if so his true colours started to show as the debate went on...
I suspect he's lying. It's what they do. Unless he was a Nottingham West Hotspur United City Albion Wanderers fan.
As if he went to Villa away with his dad in the '80s.
In the exec box with the board members maybe, but no way was he chased the f**k round Villa Park or New Street.
I find the standard reply of 'Harsh but fair' works, mostly.
It's a 'Barney Ronay', and he's not the only one, who seems to think his article(s) are some sort of weighty commentary. Half of them wouldn't have gone within a mile of a football ground before 'Euro 96/ it's coming home.'.*

*the middle class upwards hated football and football fans until then.
Very. Imagine if this was the 1980s and an English club doing it, they'd be banned from Europe... 🤔
As a former DPP, Starmer should have backed the decision of the independent safety committee, citing 'the recent record of violent incidents involving the Maccabi ultras' and left it at that. But no, he dances to the tune of the LFOI lobby again, and the Starmer Shitshow rolls on.
Never sweats, or trumps, apparently.
Just 'good natured fun' that. Everyone back to the clubhouse for a G and T afterwards and all had a jolly good laugh about it all, what?
And retain their unearned wealth and privileges, as 'one' would expect?
Aye, but the hooligans 'only picked on their own' according to the books*, so they'd have avoided battering Old Etonians.

*pure bullshit, they battered anyone 10 on 1 if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Fairly sure 'it was largely good natured fun' is what they said after Heysel.
He's clueless. His impressions of football fans obviously come from sitting in the corporate section at Arsenal.
Think I did... don't tell anyone...
Still got all the same gear they played in the studio. When they flick the lights out and play the music, by heck, it hits you. One tiny room with piano, guitars etc. All the same as it was back then, and still used now. Showed my elderly parents the pics today and they were stunned. 😢
It was amazing. RCA Studio B, guide starts playing Elvis, whole room sings along. Powerful.
Went to Graceland as well. Don't think people should be allowed in there really, it's too personal. Family cemetery. Knocked us all sideways.
I was in deep despair at the first hour of Lord of the Rings at the cinema in Bridlington, until the hip flask of Jamesons started to make sense of it all.
Just got back from a music heritage tour of the southern States, from Chattanooga to Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans etc. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, the great majority of the everyday people there are spot on. Bit like here, I guess.
This is where we used to say 'whoosh'.

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.
