The only people who follow me on "x" now are people trying to sell me services as an "seo optimizer" or "graphic designer" for thumbnails.

I don't know if it's just my algorithm that's destroyed, or because I'm not in the pay to win category, or if the platform is just done.

To be fair though, I wouldn't want to ride a bike in -50 degrees C, with snow and ice.
Like for a few months of summer I try to do alternative things when I can, but in winter the environment is too prohibitive

Is a reasonable return on their investment (however I doubt this will ever happen...though I'm not an expert in the field by any means, I know enough that I feel pretty confident in saying that).

In machine learning, neural networks, and "AI" and was significantly less impressed with it after studying it. I think it might be difficult to change the course of the tech industry at this point as they have invested many billions of dollars, and will not remove it before getting what they believe

So the point is to change the tech industries insistence on putting "AI" into everything? It would be difficult from an institution level unless they switch over to say Linux to have greater control over what is included. My degree is in electrical/computer engineering and I took some classes

I don't disagree with the concept, it just seems difficult to enforce at this point. Using an honor system will but students with integrity at an extreme disadvantage.

How do you enforce it though? AI checkers for written work will give false positives all the time, and forcing students to install something on their computer seems an overreach. Also forcing students to only use school computers would be impossible (at least for the degree I received).

What do you think of llms being used in games for NPCs? Such as in rpg games, instead of written dialogue trees, what if the NPC has a specific personality, but the dialogue is totally open for the player?
