This is also true. Dude’s ideal of Klingons is constantly being dashed. Especially in DS9. Just disappointment after disappointment

Sisko remains my favorite commander/captain. He’s a lot of Kirk, but a dash of Picard. Though he wouldn’t admit it. Avery Brooks is the large part of my love of the character. He has the gravitas without being over the top.

Sisko is the starfleet captain with first hand experience of loss. He knows and understands the cost of duty but at the same time cannot shirk the weight of it all.

The final act with Sisko and Dax talking about the ethics of command is fantastic. Literally the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Yet, Sisko cannot forget their names and their lives. Just a great weigh to explore the impact of the death of “redshirts”

Used book store and “antique” mall hunting pick ups. The comics were just some oddities I found I wanted and the books were like less than 4 each. I have been looking for a copy of Marvel comics the untold story and LOTR is the massive omnibus but for like 4 bucks I couldn’t pass it up
