But you can give informative reviews. To look at my own, I ran Old World and I can say, for my preferences I should have had some more social bits in but it was quite fighty.

I know some players raved about the sesh (to others), so for them it was great. Horses for courses.

If we're going to get into rating GMs or imposing what we think is good as a criticism on people, I can start rating all my players which is something that never gets talked about. And at that point, trust me, no one will be happy 😂

I've had feedback on my games and heard them out and thought "yeah, I'm not changing things to suit you snowflake" at times "that's a fair point, I'll think about it" and various others like "narrative games aren't for you mate, but the session was fine, you just don't like that type of thing"

Giving CONSTRUCTIVE feedback to con organisers is good, but you open yourself up if you start moaning to the world at large. Especially as, one man's meat is another man's poison, and what you think would make things better (for Simon) might make it less good for (other people / intent of organiser)

As an example, I have heard you say before that you have found some plots too simplistic. I'm not here to catch anyone out, and in fact GMs at cons to have straightforward plots as the players will complicate things on their own. Your simplistic thumbs down may be another man's thumbs up.

You can review systems without saying which event you were at otherwise making easily identifiable to a person that ran it. I'm usually interested in the why rather than the what. If I know why you did / didn't like something, I can tailor it to my personal preferences.
