twitter.com/Etrexum I'm not a followback farmer. EN/ES. Don't worry, I know, even I do think I should shut up. Yapping mostly about games like Wuthering Waves, Factorio, Path of Exile 2 and Expedition 33. Now Duet Night Abyss too. WuWa ID: 604144514 (EU)

My first pinned post: Phrolova is stupid.
I've been using Lisbell and she is great, though her skill jumps so high I sometimes get stuck above doors lol. I also farmed Rebecca copies to get her I2, so I can use 5 jellyfish. I might get her I3 to get +2 to the jellyfish skill.
I want to farm Hellfire to unlock her, but I have to advance the story first to unlock her weekly boss version (actually idk if she is a boss herself or just a boss reward).
I'm trial level 45 now, which unlocks like 90% of things unlocked by level. I also did all side and main quests in Icelake. I don't want to start the Twilight chapter yet, since I don't know how long will it take, so I'll do it tomorrow.
I tested co-op for the first time today. It can be quite frenetic since the point of it is doing things as fast as possible. The worst part is you can't do anything about lazy people aside of just leaving and hoping the next match up won't get you any lazy ones.
I love how DNA's chat is not separated by language so I'm only seeing cyrillic all the way.
Man, I should really just focus on finishing the story already. At least I just crafted the bis weapon for my current main dps. Now my limiting factor is basically farming new mods and not being able to use the forma equivalent yet.
The first time I had that problem I was in the city square where the co-op hub is enabled, so I thought it was that, but I don't know now. I'll enable co-op and see.
I think the game has some memory leaks problems after many hours, or at least it behaves like it has problems like that, but the ram and vram stats look normal.
I've been fishing a bit. It reminds me of fishing in Breath of Fire 3, but still easier. I can use either space or left click to fish, but it's spammy and very involved, so don't expect to relax too much. Hopefully I get everything from the minigame before I destroy my finger.
I'm really counting on people just asking a thousand things to be more like Warframe so the game improves up to a good point.
Ugh, I had the opportunity to use a bow in a trial and it's basically just a slow assault rifle.
It seems you still need to do all types of missions to farm most materials. It's just the characters/weapons/some especial mods where you can kind of choose.
A lot of things need "Creeping Tendrils" as material, but the only source the game puts is "dropped by enemies". Ok, do I just kill random enemies then? I guess...
Oh. Now I need to forge mats to forge mats to forge the weapon.

And forging takes time. Also, I'm still missing enough mats to begin with.
I wonder (I hope) if co-op rewards are the same as Warframe. It took me ages and a lot of mats to get a single weapon blueprint. I won't try farming anything again until I unlock co-op.
I'm actually a bit surprised they even copied the worse type of missions from Warframe. Like the car escorting one, which can be fun to do 2-3 times, but it's so slow that you usually always avoid it in Warframe. And avoiding it in DNA is a thing everyone does too.
I'm basically using "Warframe" to directly refer to DNA now lol. Let's be honest, it's just purely anime Warframe, with a bit of open world from gachas like Genshin and WuWa (much smaller though, and many places are separated as instances).
One thing I forgot about Warframe is that you need to grind a lot to get everything. Is not like you have to put 100 hours per character or something, but if you come from your typical gacha where you just pull and get the character, it could feel slow.
Oh, I just learned that a good way to learn when the internet is back is to just have the YouTube main page at front. It will automatically say if you are online and show up videos.
Great, land internet went off again exactly 24 hours since the last time, and again while playing DNA. Let's hope it come backs fast as well.
I've been exploring everywhere I can instead of actually doing the main story, so just now I'm going to unlock the commissions. But I'll stop for a bit to go eat.
Don't expect a great story, it's mostly just an excuse for the gameplay, but maybe that changes later hopefully, though I don't mind either way. As long as they polish the gameplay, I'm good.
The game for sure needs a lot of polish, it's not at the level of even WuWa 1.0 (optimization is ok even with everything at max, except for the co-op hub area). Movement is fast and fun, but not quite like Warframe, especially with the wall jumps/climbing, which is awkward to do.
It has a "collect all" option listed above all the nearby mats though, so it's "less bad".

Well, maybe Genshin has that now, idk.
Oh, damn, some mats get thrown around the floor like Genshin instead of getting collected automatically. So far it only happens when mining though.
