I don't wanna stress my kitty more and I don't know what to do, legit crying right after giving him his meds

The thing is that they're pills for a gum infection so his mouth hurts when I tried to do it. I still managed to give it to him via dissolving it into liquid and gave it to him with a syringe but he got really mad
