But it's definitely a more uphill battle than any of us anticipated.

It was reported that in the draft there was debate over whether to take Treveyeon or Saivianea with NE's R2 pick.

I can't definitively say this but reading tea leaves, it feels like Vrabel didn't want to pick Treveyeon.

So I'm a little concerned that the leash is short with him.

I think a piece of that is honestly McDaniels has been scheming interior runs and we haven't seen enough boundary runs/wheels from Henderson yet. That is where he'll thrive. He's averaging 6 YPC on carries off left end. MCDaniels needs to make those happen for him.

This leads to an issue, though.

I have a positive and a negative thought on Treveyeon Henderson.

On the plus side, watching him run, it does feel like he's getting decent gains when holes appear. He has some negative plays, mainly on failed blocks from the OL, but it feels like once he gets that 1 chance he'll break one.
