Long story short, an actual Nazi doxxing ring. Enough people reported them that they went away for like 12 hours and then Elon personally brought them back. The site is dead. If you’re still on there, go lock your account right now
what even happened on the other site this time

esti crouching low playing finger style on her green fender P bass. she’s so sweaty bc she rocked so hard. esti rocking out hard in black & white. her hair is obscuring her face bc she’s throwing her head with the music esti looking angelic during a quieter song, she holds her green fender P bass tenderly like all good lovers should
you can’t keep running away from what is real what is fake
apparently the words Hajj and Chag are cognates! in ancient times a Chag was probably just for pilgrimage to the temple during the shalosh regalim, but the word expanded to just mean holiday. idk just speculating
“all horses must go dancing / there is only dance music in times of war … but we have danced for too long / and i must change completely”
it does feel like we’re at war, the fascists declared war on society. a time of political violence. and we can’t acquiesce.
the specific dressing in angels and war, bombs and cars and sailors and boats, idk how to articulate the way it feels on the surface contradictory aesthetically, it feels conservative/reactionary, despite the themes of going against the contemporary grain
it’s about dedicating oneself to excellent artistry, taking up one’s own soul and deciding to live loud and messily in our world that is increasingly slop-y and going to hell (fascism climate change etc). recognizing your limits but fighting them anyway
this album’s aesthetic feels somewhat conservative/americana to me — rock music on “real” instruments, messy vocals, themes of individuality, pursuit of excellence, religion, going to war, horses, anti-drug use. obviously conservatism is having its moment rn, even for bands loved by trans women
maybe just bc it speaks to me in this moment of my life. but this is the song that’s been on repeat the most
it’s gotta be Islands of Men, right?
anyone notice how chappell roan has totally sold out
