Bark from mimosa - Albizia julibrisson, the happiness tree.
The little grove is filling in and needed some pruning. There will be lots of bark this year, and stripping it from the branches on a cool evening is one of my favorite ways to pass time. Good medicine.

This book was being printed when the country shut down for Covid, and I've heard from a lot of people who felt that it helped them.
It probably has something to offer in these times, too.
