In Norse folklore, mayweed was known as baldersbrår, meaning “Baldur’s eyelashes.” Named for Baldur, god of light, beauty, and purity, these flowers, with their lash-like petals, were said to symbolise his radiance, and the gentle peace he brought to the world. #FairytaleTuesday
Unfortunately, none of the books worked out for me; guess I’m picky. I find it challenging sitting on anything that’s not super captivating. Book of M had me hooked for a minute but I ended up wishing it were a short story.

In #JapaneseFolklore there's a belief that objects that are very old are able to gain a spirit and transform into a type of #yokai known as tsukumogami. In the case of musical instruments this can occur if they're stored away for long periods of time and are no longer played.

What greater virtue than to lighten another’s sorrow?

Kālidāsa (in Śākuntala)
I’m at the library, wandering aimlessly. Quick someone please recommend something. 🤣
I hadn't pulled cards in a while, this morning I grabbed my oracle deck. Pulled twice and got the same result. 🤯Coincidence? The message is to have faith, trust that everything lines up for the greater good. My friends and family can attest, I do this. So maybe this card is meant for one of you?

Did you know?

In the Victorian era, people still practiced the old custom of souling on All Hallows’ Eve.

Poor children went door to door at night, singing haunting “souling” songs in exchange for soul cakes.

Each cake was said to help release a soul from Purgatory.

Would you mind sharing your experience with this Unakite? Specifically what happened since you’ve found it? I’m so curious.
Thank u. You’ve given me a lot to think about.
I am currently heading down a rabbit hole re: infinity which involves more imagination than equations.
Thanks Templedoom; this made my night!
This is making my brain hurt but I love it.
In the scientific world, are they viewing Infinity as an independent variable? Indicating it can be kind of harnessed in a way.
I’ve heard it stated, that if you apply infinity to anything, then every single option could or would be a viable outcome.
Thank you for sharing. I’m so geeked on this subject. lol
It’s a fascinating theory. When you have time, I’d love to hear the differences.
I met a guy who insisted after we die,we are reinserted back into this same life.
“Forever?”
“Yea” he said. “Unless the fabric in which we live dies.”
“We forget, to avoid insanity. Deja vu/premonitions etc. are flaws.”
It never ceases to amaze me, how people are so certain they know the truth.
