This year we made housing more accessible with two prohousing bills. We secured protection for patients in hospitals, & increased penalties for those who would seek to abuse them. We reduced the cost of delivering water to farmers. We secured fair, and equitable elections for Merced County.

The Gov. has just signed AB 848, a penalty increase for those who abuse their position of power in hospitals and sexually batter patients. This, along with the Gov, signing the Medical Safety Chaperone Act earlier this week—means our entire Public Safety Bill Package has been signed into law!
