They're up to 40 y.o. No adult who is not a Nazi, thinks Nazi jokes are funny. No adult who is not a rapist or an aspiring rapist, thinks rape jokes are funny. No adult who is not a racist finds racist jokes funny. I could go on and list all the hateful bigotries, but I am running out of space.

This is not new. I attended SIL's very upper class East Coast wedding in 1989. Multiple toasts to the "young Nazi" were greeted with great general hilarity. The groom worked, and still works, as a Republican political consultant. I am obviously ethnically Jewish. I was terrified.

Anyone who is capable of blaming an infant for anything, should not be allowed to raise children. My kids knew I had had complications, and they also knew it was not anyone's fault. I had a near fatal recurrence when our kids were 7 and 4, so they definitely knew what was going on.

It is all kinds of wrong. I nearly died of complications of childbirth, but it never occurred to me to blame anyone for that, especially not my newborn infant son!

My MIL contracted polio when she was in the hospital giving birth to her first child (my husband). She ended up with a limp. She never forgave him.
