Listening to The Dark Zone on @somafm.com is like having the brooding score of a Twin Peaks episode as the soundtrack of my life SomaFM.com/darkzone

The darker side of deep ambient. Music for staring into the Abyss.

RIP Terence Stamp. Goodbye General Zod, Chancellor Valorum, Jor-El in Smallville, and Prophet of Truth in Halo 3.

Terence Stamp was also in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Red Planet, Last Night in Soho, Miss Peregrine, Big Eyes, Alien Nation, Wall Street, and many more movies.

He was 87.
Ha! Hopefully the hook would at least be graced with rhinestones.
In my childhood, we had ON TV, the local cable service, and they had one film in their library: Superman: The Movie (1978). It was always on, always on repeat. I ooze that movie to this day. And I just saw SUPERMAN (2025) and I was back in time, sitting in my uncle’s LazyBoy chair, watching magic.
See #Superman in theaters now!
I snapped this one in the Egyptian Theatre while waiting for the screening of Oliver Stone’s THE DOORS (1991)
Get off my plane.
I was going to watch the latest Captain America movie (haven’t seen it yet) then thought to myself, Hey, why not make it a Harrison Ford as President double feature so #nowwatching Air Force One (1997)!

A little Scavengers Reign (2023) to round off the weekend.
After watching Season 2 Episode 8 of Andor, do the more thoughtful Imp Simps *still* sympathize with the Galactic Empire? #StarWars
Listening to an @inglorioustrek.bsky.social podcast and, also being a fan of the animated series Bob's Burgers, I realized that Trekspert Ashley E Miller is the Gene Belcher of the pod: Blurting out random, unfiltered and often-risque remarks willy-nilly, and most of them hit.
In honor of Sir Patrick’s Day, I’m on a rewatch of the #StarTrek First Contact film. You know what? Back then I had issues with Picard still struggling with his Borg assimilation, but the Trek books since have smoothed over those cracks. Love the books! #FirstContactDay
They did Ensign Ro dirty. #StarTrek #Picard
These Hirogen don’t mess around: I’m back on my Star Trek Voyager rewatch and I’m in the middle of season 4. They also made an appearance in David Mack’s Star Trek Destiny trilogy, and they were well represented there, too. I’d like to see more cosplay of these big bastards.
I enjoyed the comments you both made on how the first 3 seasons of Voyager were lovely and strange and on how it changed post-7 of 9. And you were right- I’m now early in on S4 and everything is now green, black, and Borg…
Listened to this a couple of months ago and it sparked a Voyager rewatch: I followed the lads’ lead here and started with the Seska episodes then went on from there.
And Seska is back! Everyone’s favourite Bajoran Maquis Cardassian traitress returns — with a daring plan to unite the Kazon sects, or to destroy Voyager, or to capture Chakotay and collect a couple of teaspoonfuls of his DNA. Ahem.

Watching Drop Dead Years on Hulu and Bill Burr is slaying.
My recent watch of #StarTrek #Prodigy has me on a #Voyager kick and gave Janeway a whole new gloss for me. OF COURSE she’s one of the greats! Currently on a rewatch and now on season 2. Dare I stop?

Because I’ve started reading the post-NEM #StarTrek :TNG novels (finishing David Mack’s Cold Equations trilogy) decided to visit an old friend, the Star Trek: First Contact Blu-ray, but with the Library Computer feature on for the first time ever. I wonder where it’ll take me?
