At some point we need to have a standard for what a Good Person is that's actually achievable by humans, or the only people who will be able to speak at all will be AI.

And like I get it because I, too, was a young queer who once thought that maybe I could be gay, but not like "one of THOSE" gays. I'd be a respectable gay. It would be different for me. But it never is. The only difference is that you learn what true hate is in your 30s instead of your 20s.

The number of times in recent years (for obvious reasons) I've had to grip a young queer by the shoulders, shake them, and scream "There is never a point where you will be good enough for homophobes. They will win you with honeyed words, and then bury the dagger in your back" is more than I'd like.

I mean, you're not necessarily wrong, but as someone currently hit by KOSA I greatly appreciate when people don't tag their shit since it lets me view/interact with it without surrendering my data to a third party company.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

I don't even think it's another Verso. There's that part at the end where it swaps between his face and Maelle's, and there's this intense desperate look on his face, like he KNOWS what happened, who did it, and that he's the puppet on the strings dancing to Maelle's tune like. Supremely fucked up.

There's a discussion in this game about honoring a creator's wishes, respecting their work, and letting the legacy die instead of dragging it on forever the way Marvel/Disney does.

Alas too many people see Lune's feet, and go too cum brained to acknowledge it.

Literally fucking EVERYBODY wants the painting to stop. Even the soul-dredge of Verso begs Maelle to let him die. You don't get to use "But Lune is real even if she is just a painting :(" as an excuse to justify turning the ghost of your brother into a slave for your own escapism.

I got through half of an hour long video where some guy made a case for why Maelle's ending is "more moral" one, and like... you spend the entire latter half of the game granting death to the painted versions of Verso's family. The only moral thing to do at that point is respect Verso's wishes.

Deeply proud of my home state's capitol for resisting our fascist government from its continued gross overreach. I hope that other states and cities see Chicago's resistance, and it fuels them in theirs. Our Executive branch expects us to simply accept their action. But we can and should fight back.
