We are more than our work. It's an absolute imperative we do not burn out people, either their creative energy or their physical health. Balance and sustained growth, the long term, the well being of people. These need to be the focus of our society, not short term profit goals.

Sometimes this picture gets used where it doesn't apply. However Zohran doesn't really push any of the things that turn people off on Democratic Socialists or Leftists. Plus denounced the most relevant to NYC thing Hasan said. To go for corrupt creep Cuomo over him, really is letting their bias win.

I mean with all the jobs lost, people working without pay during the shutdown, power bills up from data centers rubber stamped, and their candidate being equal parts crazy and stupid. We do have a solid chance of taking Governor of Virginia at least. Hopefully that's part of a more widespread shift.

Imagine it's mostly tankies or people that are annoyed by podcasters and streamers. Who if they are like me 90% of, they only find out who they are when they've done or said something fucked up or stupid. Hell I only know who he is, from him helping spin and downplay another streamer's bad behavior.

He's in South Korea because they are holding the APEC CEO '25 summit. The shutdown is on Republicans, by all means drill that home, tell The House to return. Call out any number of other things Trump has been up to during the shutdown. Just this one claim makes us look dumb, and doesn't really work.

Also that yes those who spend more time working against Democrats (not who just try to hold them accountable for their votes, that's fair) likely see it as fighting the upholders of Capitalism. Result and effect is the same though. They don't get we have to value people's lives, over their theories.

As someone who exists somewhere between the Liberals and Leftists, and has had many a fight with both on things like UBI, or not using identity to defend things being rightfully criticized. Your example rings true to me. Where neither's approach is fully understanding reality sometimes.

People will nitpick this point, however the institutional part is important. For whatever popular figures on the left have pushed that way, their doing it hasn't been welcomed or overlooked on the same scale. Their extremist are given a megaphone, so are ours, but by some media, not by the majority.

Democrats are held responsible for the actions and words of the entire Left side of politics. While Republicans the actions and words of their own candidates aren't even held against them. Combined with Leftist working tirelessly to push propaganda and 'both sides', to harm Democratic voter turnout.
