In retrospect looking for command injection on a zte MF971V by putting ;reboot; on the end of values might not have been the best idea as its now reboting every 40 seconds or so and i cant connect to the wifi.
Have ordered another to try ;telnetd; instead

To be fair it is a little hard to reuse GPU's that have been incinerated in a fire (look at the rusty rack cabinets) but im sure someone will still try selling them on ebay as lightly used.

I believe some used the EC as a secure element as you have found. I did look briefly at another bios hacking forum and it looked like for some they were maybe making a frankensteind uefi using a signed module from a different model to allow rewriting the password but i didnt look further.

Not your IP but the SSID's and MAC addresses of the wifi access points your phone can see. This picture is from WIGLE showing a random street in Bristol if i can see those networks and using the various signal strengths of each you can attempt to triangulate where the phone is.
