As of November 1st, thousands of Head Start locations are at risk of closing. In NY, over 1600 slots and almost 700 staff are impacted. Children, families, and educators are bearing the brunt of cruel policies.

While this article focuses on NYC, there are currently 21 counties across NY that have waitlists. Children and families and the providers who educate and care for them deserve more stability than this.
