Thank you! It's good to know the practical side is straightforward(ish!) thanks for giving me the encouragement to get it sorted.
Yes, just trying to gather the mental wherewithal to start that. I've been adivsed that Small Claims Court is the way to go. It's really depressing.
I'm in a similar boat. I booked an apartment in Liverpool that turned out to have been unavailable for months. Booking.com delisted it but insisted I did stay there and refused to refund me. A subject access request showed that I didn't stay there, but they still won't refund. Thanks for the info!

BlueSky friends, can anyone recommend somewhere/someone in Sheffield city centre that does make up and hair styling for the middle aged?
Thank you.

'Even using ChatGPT summaries as a "starting point" for human editing "would require just as much, if not more, effort as drafting summaries themselves from scratch" due to the need for "extensive fact-checking".'

More and more of my time is wasted double-checking non-existent references, it's infuriating.
β€œThese companies all advertise these tools as knowing your intent,” Taylor told 404 Media. β€œUnderstanding what you meant when you put those terms in. They don’t know. They don’t understand. None of those things are true. There is no technical way these tools can do that.”

It’s a trippy time to have a library card.

Yes, she's fine thank you. It was just a textbook appointment. The doctor was lovely, listened to her really closely, explained everything really well (including why she'd got mistaken information before), explained the options and relative risks and completely involved her in decision making. πŸ†

I just saw a comment that said "I don't support what happened to Charlie, but Charlie supported what happened to Charlie."

THAT ... that's what I've been trying to put into words.
I went for my staff health check yesterday and was 0.9cm taller than last year.
Like, what?
Has shrinkflation even affected the height chart?
Thank you! It was such a great outfit!
I loved wearing it and am a bit sad not to be there this year. I'm hoping to wear it again next year.

You can get a similar look by attaching a pair of oven gloves to the top of your arms.

This time last year I was titting about in a bonnet at the Jane Austen festival.
I hope everyone taking part this year has a marvellous time 😊
I had the best time at the #JaneAustenFestival today. Loads of fun dressing up, met lots of friendly, interesting people and generally felt like a celebrity. 😊
