When they finally give you “zee really gut drugz” (he’s stoned on a cocktail of gabapentin, metacam and paracetamol), 1 week post surgery we seem to have got his pain under control, finally - surgery was fine, post op complication not so much
More like they took his Waitrose card away.

Apparently he can’t cook, like he had to call his private chef back from a day off to cook him a baked potato.
“No, exotic… I always get those to muddled up” and “Guinea Pigs for Fun and Profit”

If you know, you know.
Ooh, I opt for English mustard (it's a good pairing with these ones). Damn, I think I might have just chosen.
I know, right? I don't know what I'm in the mood for.
I have an important decision to make...

Jumbo battered sausage or battered cod from the fish and chip van this evening?? 🤔

(it's been a fucking long day that's involved getting up 2 hours early so I can have a shower before they turned my gas off, for 90 fucking minutes 😑)
They’re all weird, I hope they help. ❤️
Please all be thankful that he’s not YOUR MP 😑

I don’t vote for him.
I did not vote for that sack of sh*t Danny Kruger, I am not happy he's my MP and I'm even LESS happy he's now a f*cking member of Reform.
not me, emailing my parish council, to complain about the village football club shrugging their shoulders about the opposing team parking all over the pavement around the football pitch when they play home games 👀
pretend I said four (I add the fourth and forgot to update the number), forgive me, I'm designing metadata to enable filtering for a client.
Failing that, now would be a seriously awesome time to implement faceting. A simple four structure facet of:
- Symptoms
- Conditions
- Medications
- Services
Would make it super easy for users to get to the content you want them to get to.
Thank you to whoever sorted out the indexing on NHS.uk - you know what would be awesome now? as I'm assuming that services, conditions, symptoms and medications are sitting in three separate root files, you could do federated search (because that sexy search engine I helped implement supports it)
It is delicious (it smells like expensive tea), and I’m defo considering it with porridge, but it was also good with Greek yogurt and vanilla gelato.
I have plum and apricot. The plum is spectacular. Can’t comment on the apricot as it’s still cooling
I’ve spent the last two Sundays making jam, and now I have maple syrup envy 😩
Ben Stiller smashing the shit out of Adam Scott in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is unbelievably enjoyable. (I can’t stand Scott, he’s a talentless irritant).
Dough is my nemesis, but I remembered I've got a recipe from Morito that turned out OK ish. so I thought I'd give it a go using my Gozney (my cooker is shite). turned out *AMAZING* the long batons are Leek and Feta Gözleme, which are Ok but not as great as I thought they would be.
Oh, I cook 99% the same thing, but I also own WAY too many cookbooks, so I’m trying to be a bit more adventurous. Guaranteed never to cook it again 😂
it's a nice recipe (never cooked it before), like a cross between paella and a risotto
