But please don't go all in on ESU for Windows 10 and expect it to just work and be peachy.

Microsoft is known for their "do whatever you want, we'll audit your licensing later" practices in enterprise solutions. They can just as easily do it to you, the end user.

If you can upgrade to windows 11, please just do so. If not, please please please consider moving to a new operating system (Ubuntu, KDE Linux, some mega obscure shit) or new physical system (A new windows PC, a Mac)

And for the love of dog, please please please know what the fuck the command you are typing into powershell or cmd actually fucking does before pressing enter.

If you don't know off hand, look it up from Microsoft's online documentation, and only that

EVERYONE else should be considered a liar.

You have absolutely no guarantee that Microsoft will deliver updates to your computer. None, zero, nada, fuck all.

I sure hope you check, I sure hope those guides that you watched to get set up told you how to check.

I keep thinking about windows 10 EOL, and damn, I'm really concerned for folks.

A lot of people on this site are jumping into an untested, effectively unreleased solution, without paying for it, and expecting that you'll be secure.
