Lots of interesting takeaways from the MADEU24 project incl finding that the hostile misinformation effect - whereby ppl believe misinformation is mostly directed at their political side- is stronger as political interest party liking, and ideological extremity increases. #ica25

I am not sure this #ica25 can get any better already… puppies in need of socialising at the conference registration!
I have arrived in beautiful Denver for #ica25! Looking forward to seeing many interesting presentations. It’ll be my first ICA (I know, shocking - considering I’ve been working in academia for 6.5 yrs!) - so if anyone has tips, let me know!

New preprint 📄

Voters navigating complex, multilevel systems are exposed to many kinds of political information. But what kind do they actually seek — and use?

We find voters prefer policy over principles and they update their vote intention accordingly.
