🇩🇪 Tracking Equipment Losses and the Usage of Civilian Vehicles (Cars/Trucks etc) in different conflicts | Run boberkherson
Posts Media Videos Starter Packs
RSF: 383 (323x Captured, 60x Destroyed)
SAF: 29 (1x Abandoned, 6x Captured, 22x Destroyed) and 34x Former Losses Recaptured
SAF Allied Militias: 6 (3x Captured, 3x Destroyed)
+42 Destroyed where the operator is uncertain
I will publish the list of new losses, as soon as i finished checking all the sources i have.
I am currently standing at 494x New Entries.
I couldnt properly ID most of the Vehicles, due to the angle of filming and time.
Counting this did cost me 7 1/2 Hours.
135x Captured, 26x Destroyed
Al Jazeera published 3 videos from the ground showing the aftermath and abandoned vehicles. (I will link them in the end of the thread)
Counting these i come to the conclusion that the RSF lost a minimun of 161 Vehicles. All softskin Vehicles, mostly former Civilian.
And a couple turrets, 2x BTR-80A and 1x BMP-1 Turret
Also formerly captured from the SAF
A really rarely seen M113A3.
Formerly captured from the SAF
Some Control Station i am so far unable to ID
Interestingly painted in RSF colors, so not necessarily former SAF
A RSF Amir (Note its painted in RSF color, unlike most of the other captured Vehicles)
2x 122mm 2S1 Gvozdika
Formerly captured from the SAF
Some captured Equipment from the RSF in Khartoum:

(Most of the Vehicles seen were formerly captured from the SAF by the RSF and were now recaptured)

120mm Boragh/Khatim-2 Self Propelled Mortar
Formerly captured from the SAF
Maybe I will create something to give you a better overview over total losses as well, if I find the time. Don't know yet, the last two weeks were quite busy, but for now it's just Google sheets with losses.
Hi,

Just a small notice: I have decided that for now I won't put new losses lists and updates to existing ones on Armadarotta.
I will continue making losses lists and update the existing ones, they will just be published like I did with Syria, as a losses sheet.
A great graph.
It really illustrates the masses of civilian vehicles on the front and imo how important they are for both sides.

They always appear as an unimportant part of this war and are overlooked by many/most.
Yet they make up a really big part of the losses.
Here are two last charts you might find interesting. They show the ratio of Russian vehicle losses between the categories of vehicles between August 2023 and February 2025. Note the differences over time.
And then they will bomb some random Ukrainian City.
Or say they cant do it, cause of *Insert something Ukraine did or did not do*

Also im pretty sure that they will bomb some random Ukrainian City before they answer.

And they will do it again as soon as they refuse.

And if they agree they will break it in 2 weeks max.
Im pretty sure Russia wont agree to the ceasefire.

Using their logic I see no benefit for them to agree. A Ceasefire without getting territory in return equals a defeat for them.

They will make some outlandish demands and then refuse.
I also need to find a way how to treat the M113 losses.
The ones loaded with explosives fall under the Kamikaze Drone category imo.
But i still need to decide about the ones where its not clear if they were used to carry explosives or in more traditional roles. Future Problems...
AND after that comes the IDF media, for the Hamas, Hezbollah Losses.

Which is relatively easy. The IDF documents the stuff they destroy/capture pretty nicely.

You just need to know where to look.
Plus a few other accounts that posts those losses.
Just to give you an idea of the masses i have to look through.
And you know whats really neat?
When i finish the Hamas, Hezbollah stuff i have a couple other TGs/Twitter accounts to move through.
I am saying "around" cause i let the file count everything that has "UAV" as category and i have a couple entries of Loitering Munitions they tried to sell as regular UAVs.

The List with the unrelated videos has 1192 entries.
Most are Videos of Rockets being fired or Mortars.
The Israel Rework File has 709 entries currently.
So far I consider 158 as losses, out of which around 106 are UAVs.

Let me tell you one thing:
The IDF lost a shitton of UAVs.

Then again thats kinda one of the main purposes of UAVs....
Nice to see that Bluesky works.
