My favorite bit is when someone screenshot a part of the article that pretty specifically says "hey these things aren't sacrosanct" and is like "Why is this article saying we gotta treat these things as sacrosanct!"

That said, I would also find it weird if someone used a made up a slur to refer to the bear. Not in sense to protect the bear but in the sense that it really makes it look like you've just always wanted to say a different slur.

Crazy that the tech industry has taken the beautiful human capability to extend empathy for all things including inanimate objects and made it as annoying as possible. Its like if your childhood teddy bear is actively destroying the planet but you still insist on its inalienable human rights.
