Italian Americans experience matters as do the Knights of Columbus. Go talk to a few members before you decide bashing historical figures to make yourself feel better is a good plan.

Everyone is on the bash Columbus bandwagon because of a holiday made in his name decades ago.

What about all the other explorers of that time? It was a time in history, not one man.
