Because Batman is a vigilante and fictional and they can map Bruce Wayne's wealth and self-righteousness onto Trump as though Trump would protect the poor. Our minds are terribly bias and prone to compartmentalize too.

I'm using self reflections to promote @epistemiclit.bsky.social's "integrity" theme... I started doing it after I got their newsletter. (They hadn't even announced the theme publicly yet.)

I keep doing it for the irony and hope it encourages others to ruminate on "integrity" and what it means!!

That's nuts! I'm glad pretzels were a good fix. I had a roommate in college that had hypoglycemia. She had a lot of the ensure meal replacement things.

Thank you!! I've been so angry recently that my desire to create has been overcome by my desire to destroy, but often, shattered glass glistens like jewels in the sunlight. So hopefully, my more tragic pieces are more than just words scratched into paper.

I like the way you use imperfection here. I liked "perfect" in that piece because it's less about descriptions or even being correct in one's assessment and more about looking at someone else with awe, wonder, and love.
