While not the most original themed slasher, #HeartEyes does a commendable job at balancing its viable laughs, slick violence & anti/pro commentaries on Valentine's Day. It also succeeds at being a mirthful romantic comedy too, thanks to #OliviaHolt & #MasonGooding 's wholesome chemistry. #horrorthon

Despite its divisiveness, #Skinamarink is an implicit revelation in experimental & independent cinema. A grainy, atmospheric, "architectural" horror story that lingers within long after viewing it. A confounding, petrifying gem that defies convention & emphasizes unyielding originality. #horrorthon

While not a 100% adaptation of the popular video game, #UntilDawn throws out a frenetic time-loop story with ruthless kills, nutty chills, & efficacious creativity. It irrevocably delivers if given an actual chance to show what it's made of. Regardless, another success for the VGA genre. #Horrorthon

#DontMove is a serviceable Hitchcock/1990s hybrid that keeps the suspense boiling throughout its lean & mean runtime. #KelseyAsbille & #FinnWhittrock are exquisite in making this distinct cat & mouse game work while also crafting enough psychological depth to give it an extra oomph. #Horrorthon

Another solid @stephenking.bsky.social adapt, thanks to #OsgoodPerkins' eccentric, deranged style. While the dark comedy falls flat at times, its strong commitment weirdly echoes #edgarwright & #Mst3k. Honestly, this is the best #TheoJames has ever been & that's a miracle onto itself. #Horrorthon

#JamesGunn 's amazing reign of the new #DCU continues in #Peacemaker Season 2 with tons of sexuality, dialogue heavy nonsense, easter eggs, pop culture, reestablishing mythos, hypergory violence, emotional depth, spastic hilarity & superb music. #JohnCena & the cast are excellent! Bring on Season 3!

A joyously energetic build-up of talent & synchronicity that descends into a ruthless annihilation of humanity by sociopathy/psychopathy within its unsuspecting characters. #GasperNoe's voyeuristic, devolving, disorienting, & anxiety-fueled direction is unconceivably maniacal & hellish. #horrorthon

With a convoluted plot & horror elements being reprogrammed with action-movie aesthetics, #Megan2 keeps its campy, unbalanced tonality while throwing in a psuedo cautionary tale on A.I. ethics & dependency. The sassy robot still slays though, which is what we craved in equal measure. #horrorthon

#LeighWhannel once again brings a classic into modernity as #Wolfman is equal parts supernatural thriller with palpable mystery, cinematography, & gruesomeness while also acting as a symbolic catalyst for the estrangement & connection of its characters. A welcomed but strange execution. #horrorthon

#TheStrangeThingabouttheJohnsons is a nuanced & dismal view into familial love & connection completely destroyed by a disturbing secret. #AriAster's impeccable writing & directing are imminent with this short, dark, semi-satirical story, showcasing his brilliance early in his career. #Horrorthon
