Wow. Just did a quick inventory of canned goods in the shed and while we're getting down there, there are still a lot of tomatoes, peaches, pumpkin, and pickles. The beans don't count since 1/2 of them are from this year.

What I am waiting for is a class action suite against publishers who failed to register the copyright of the works they had licenced. I know this all comes down to the actual contract terms, but surely copyright registration is build in there somewhere.

More so when I read about non-US writers who can't understand how a case tried under US law in a US court doesn't apply to them.

As a Canadian who has known for years that in the US a copyright registration. Is required on order seek redress before the courts I am flabbergasted by all the US residents who are upset their non-registered works aren't included in the recent AI company settlement.

As I wait I'm contemplating this best way to compose the opening scene given I only have my two main characters to help set the scene this time. In all my other books I had a selection of secondary characters in place to add flavour to the scene.

One problem I have with the Art is for the rich argument is all the people ignoring how many pieces of art that were created for the common folk that never made it into the history books by artists who likewise never got any official recognition.

I understand the dynamics behind why large trucks and buses make wide turns. What I don't understand is why drivers of regular trucks and cars feel it's necessary to cut into my lane to make a simple turn.
