This is an @ezralevin.bsky.social and @leahgreenberg.bsky.social appreciation post. Thank you for all the love and work you put in to make today happen.
Reminded of seeing EP King in Vegas. Ended his show singing a medley of, if I recall, the Ghetto and Battle Hymn of the Republic. Remember him saying "I don't think I'm the king or anything, but I think by sharing a few songs & memories, we can carry on in his great mission" So, maybe 1 king?
Also, should we now refer to the TX guard as "Hessians" per 25?
Does Grijalva nonsense qualify as #6? Does threats to withhold federal funding if states/public colleges don't comply fit #2? Does not calling the House into session to vote on ACA/end shutdown to prevent Epstein fit 22? Does impoundment nonsense fit 22?

Are we using Concur?
It’s going to take ages to pay all these people

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.
Thanks for this story. I had some potential follow up questions about other events here: bsky.app/profile/edmu...
That person in the frog suit really gets around. Like Phil Collins doing Live Aid in Philly and London on the same day.
I found myself defending him from folks accusing him of intentionally mispronouncing "Mamdani." But I also described him as "Schrodinger's racist" when he name checked Public Enemy. He's both really complex and exactly like a whole lot of people I grew up around.
Allegedly shot by organized crime folks who were upset with him calling out JG on his radio show.
I vaguely remember the community school board member moving the piano from the school to their house. But its alright to want more than "they kept the pianos in the school auditorium."
I've already described Sliwa as "schrodinger's racist" tonight for name checking P.E. on "311 is a joke." But he's not cynical, and he actually likes the city. I even ended up defending him from people saying he was mispronouncing "Mamdani" on purpose.

Out today: 7th Circuit opinion on IL/Chicago v Trump
The court denies the administration’s motion for a stay pending appeal of the lower court’s TRO, except for the stay they already granted. So the NG troops can remain in fed status but not deploy.

Time is up. I gave Speaker Mike Johnson two days to swear in Adelita Grijalva. Arizona's 7th congressional district 813,000 Arizonans are now being taxed without representation. I have lawyers downstairs right now drafting litigation.

Did he mispronounce "Pataki"?

15 US states and territories have formed a new Public Health Alliance, which will counter the absence of federal leadership by tracking outbreaks, issuing guidance, buying vaccines and more.

Members of the new alliance include CA, CO, CT, DE, GU, HI, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, OR, RI, WA.
Its like being home. There are people here arguing that he's intentionally mispronouncing "Mamdani" and I'm like he's mispronouncing "Pataki" while citing him as his favorite elected official.
I think he just mispronounced "Pataki" while citing him as his favorite elected official.
He just name checked P.E. saying "311 is a joke." He's like Schrodinger's racist.
I really don't think this is intentional. He's 71 years old. And he's leaning into his accent so much that he's tripping over words he knows well.
.
I gave Indivisible a couple of bucks after the last No Kings day, because you have to build on success. So I guess I'm funding it!
Can we get there with words people already know like "restitution" and "restoration" and "penalties" and "fines"?
